My 2 cents on cut

Just my tip for anyone out there buying a diamond. Don't compromise on the cut. It seems to be the most abused of the 4 C's. Everyone wants a big diamond to show off and end up compromising on cut to be able to get it.
For me cut is a big part of what makes a diamond shine in the light. When I bought a ring for my girlfriend I got ideal cut.
