So I was searching around for diamonds and came across a eBay posting.  I never thought of buying a diamond on eBay... just not the type of thing that I would consider eBay for.

Anyone have any experience?  Good or Bad?

That why we have ebay auctions listed here so people can see them and the discuss, then buy.

The prices seem really good on eBay!  I wish I would have checked them before I bought my ring.

What recommendations would you have for me if I was buying a new diamond on eBay to make sure that I will be pleased with my purchase?

Thanks.

I am glad I stumbled upon this site, I am in the marktet for some diamond earrings and have now been looking on this site and ebay.  I can't believe the price difference between online and my local jeweller!

To be honest I haven't try to buy diamond on ebay but i've already bought some stuff in ebay. Diamond boy is right. The purpose Ebay auctions is the chance to discuss with other people things you want to know regrading on a particular item you want to buy.

I bought diamonds on Ebay in the past...

Not really a good experience.

Most of the diamonds I bought, were not as described. The quality and colour were less, usually the diamond was smaller than described too.

Some people even sell glass or fake diamonds as being real ones...

If you don't have knowledge about diamonds, I would advice not to buy on Ebay.

There are some trustable sellers on Ebay, where I love to buy and where I buy much, but I will not buy from other sellers anymore.
