If someone was interested in diamonds how could they learn a lot about them.  Is there a course you can take where you would learn everything you need to know about diamonds or do you just learn it through experience?

I have a base knowledge but I'm really interested in the subject.

You can take a GIA class, or if you want, they also sell the GIA courses (the books) on Ebay sometimes.

The GIA classes are more expensive. It depends on how much you want to pay for it.

You can buy the books, but there is a change you will not understand some topics of it because some cases need to be explained by real examples.

You can learn a lot by yourself, but I believe you also need to learn a part by experience, which the books don't teach you.
