Hi,

I've heard of the 4 C's but I had never looked at the measurements of a diamond before.  How important are they in comparison to the 4 C's?

measurements on a certification represent the length to width or diameter of a diamond's "top side".... girdle to girdle. and the last measurement represents the millimeter of the diamond's depth.... from table to culet.  These measurements are going to tell you how "big" the diamonds' face up value is and they are also used in determining the appropriate cut and symmetry grade of the stone.
